Amduscias In 1993-94, as a young Underground Metal supporter, I stumbled upon this on a compilation tape... Black Metal was on the rise, and in those magic times, some bands had something special to offer. Sus Scrofa was one of them with their pyrenean folk approach. Check this demo and enjoy the necro sound testimony of times when the Black Metal Underground meant serious musickal magick. Favorite track: Pagan sacrum facere.

In 1992, the group has a contract proposal with EMBASSY Productions (french label) who publish such GORGOROTH's first album.
The band stopped in 1994. Fagus & Aherbelste are co-founding members of STILLE VOLK.
SUS SCROFA plays pyrenean pagan metal, the first band in France and one of the first in Europe. 600 ex of the demo were sold all over the world.

In 2014 the band is reformed. 4 new title tracks were recorded during winter 2014.

Créé en 1991, Sus scrofa est un des premiers groupe de pagan métal en France.
Le groupe réalise ses premiers enregistrements en 1991 (démos non diffusées). Puis, en 1993, 'Dins Ech Cel d'Asteartia', vendue à plus de 600 exemplaires. Le groupe produit un métal teinté de black métal première vague, de métal traditionnel et de sonorités folkloriques autour de thèmes animistes, païens creusant ainsi le sillon d'un style à peine naissant à cette période. L'écho important dans l'underground 'Dins Ech Cel d'Asteartia' en fait un réalisation reconnue encore aujourd'hui.

En 1992, le groupe reçoit une proposition de contrat par le label français EMBASSY Productions qui éditera notamment le premier album de GORGOROTH la même année.

Le groupe splitte en 1994. Fagus & Aherbelste fondent alors STILLE VOLK la même année.

2014, le groupe est reformé. 4 nouveaux titres ont été enregistrés au couyrs de l'hiver 2014
